the {Chen} family
little Molly was on the move...& i had a bit of trouble keeping up with her. but those stand-still moments were precious :) as we pack up & move back to the West Coast, I'll miss these opportunities to photograph families in the midst of their time serving our great Nation. it isn't too often you find flags & red-white-&-blue painted on the side of buildings off military establishments. despite the sweat, heat, & sweltering weather (did i mention it was hot?!), i think we captured their family pretty well....

the {Miller} family
this sweet, sweet family's "new addition" isn't so new anymore--in fact, his first birthday is just around the corner. they are so easy to take pictures of...& little "Z" certainly wasn't afraid of the camera either.
for the {girls}: an orchard + friendship
it took an orchard.
totally, totally worth it.
and four friends, two of them sisters.
and 2754 clothing changes.
and 39 "i don't know what to wear"'s.
and a run-in with the owner. who almost told us to leave.
and a morning chill.
and friendship.
to get these:
totally, totally worth it.

{stock family.}
when winter's bite had traveled east...& signs of spring were just starting to show, this brave family hired me to snap a few photos before their oldest left on his mission.
my hands froze. they were troopers. and i think we walked away with some pretty LOVEly shots.

andrew + ketra
part of the {family} isaacson shoot, i pulled each couple away for a few shots...andrew & ketra's had a bit more flare than the others (as in sunflare--ha!) & i figured i'd give them their own little space...

the {family} isaacson.
i LOVE large groups. and although it's been said i tend to make their shots look like band cover-photos or the teams from popular reality television, I STILL LOVE THEM.
and this family has a special place in my heart :)
it was such a JOY working with them...they laughed at me the whole time {makes my job so much easier}
